𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀
At Guard, we set out to solve a problem many face: blackout blinds that don't truly block out all light. Even a sliver of light seeping through can disrupt rest, and traditional curtains and standard blinds were never designed to stop it. So we built something different: custom blackout blinds with a track and frame system that seals the entire window perimeter for complete darkness.

That mission has resonated. Through creator partnerships alone, we've generated over 1 billion organic views across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, primarily in the US market. We're a fast-scaling brand with a significant Meta Ads budget, and our creator program is a core driver of our growth.

Now we're entering the next phase. We've proven the product and built strong organic traction, but we're ready to go deeper on paid media. That means moving beyond repurposing organic content as ads and building a dedicated performance creative engine: purpose-built ad creatives designed from the ground up to convert on Meta. The foundation is in place, and there's a lot of room to run.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀
Right now, we're spending heavily on Meta and growing, but we're running organic creator content as ads. It works, but it has a ceiling. We need someone to build a proper performance creative system alongside it: scripted concepts, structured testing, iteration cycles, creative learnings, the full engine.

This isn't a role where you inherit someone else's playbook. You'll build yours from the ground up, with a real budget behind it and a founder who's ready to get out of your way.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺
We're open to candidates based in the US, Canada, or EU. Fully remote. You work from wherever suits you best, as long as you can overlap 3-4 hours with Central European Time.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀
• 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. You'll own the entire creative function. Build your team, your systems, your playbook. No committees, no layers, direct line to the founder.
• 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁. Significant Meta spend and growing aggressively. You won't be scraping together budget for tests. The money is there.
• 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵. This role starts as Creative Strategist and grows with the company: Senior Creative Strategist, Head of Creative, Creative Director. You'll define the trajectory as you build the team.
• 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁. Your creative work will directly shape the company's growth. Every winning ad shows up in revenue the same week.
• 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. Thousands of customers tell us we've changed their sleep. You'll be marketing something people genuinely love.
• 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲. Work from anywhere. Autonomy and trust.
• 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. $6,000 to $10,000 USD/month base salary, plus performance bonuses (5% of ad spend on your top winning creatives). A-players earn significantly above base.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗜𝗳
• You'd rather go deep on one brand than juggle ten clients.
• You want ownership, not busywork. You don't need someone telling you what to do every morning.
• You'd rather build a system than follow someone else's.
• You could run your own business but prefer the focus and resources of going all-in on one brand.
• You get excited by data. Hook rates, hold rates, CPA, ROAS. Numbers inform your creative, not just vibes.
• You've been in the trenches scaling Meta ads and know what it takes to break through plateaus.
• You're not precious about your ideas. If data says kill it, you kill it and move on.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗢𝘄𝗻
• 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Develop the creative testing roadmap: what angles to test, in what order, and why. Run structured testing frameworks (hook tests, angle tests, format tests, CTA tests) and build a documented learnings system.
• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Generate 5-10 new creative concepts per week. Write scripts that hook attention, communicate value, and drive action. Purpose-built for Meta, not repurposed organic content.
• 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. Source, vet, and manage freelance editors and UGC creators. You'll start with 1-2 editors and scale to 3-4 as spend grows. You write the briefs, they execute your vision.
• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀. Analyze ad performance weekly. Identify what's working, why it's working, and how to do more of it. Translate data into actionable creative briefs.
• 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. Iterate on winning ads before they fatigue. New hooks on proven angles, format variations, mashups. Keep winners running longer.
• 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs) to accelerate ideation, scripting, storyboarding, and production. Experiment with new workflows to increase output without sacrificing quality.
• 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Monitor competitor ads, platform changes, and creative trends. Stay ahead of what's working across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁
• 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, content production, or performance marketing in DTC, e-commerce, or a growth-focused agency.
• Proven track record of creating ads that scaled. We'll ask for specifics: what was the spend, what was the ROAS, what was your hit rate.
• Experience managing creators, editors, or small creative teams.
• Comfortable reading Meta Ads Manager data and pulling insights from ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, and other performance metrics.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for ideation, copywriting, or content production.
• A systems thinker who naturally builds processes, templates, and feedback loops.

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲
• Experience with creative analytics platforms (Motion, Foreplay, Minea).
• Background in direct response or performance creative.
• You've built a creative learnings database or wiki before.
• Portfolio showcasing ads you've concepted that drove measurable results.
• Experience with DTC brands in the home, sleep, or wellness space.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗲
• 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Record a 2-minute Loom: walk us through one ad you created that scaled, what made it work, and what you'd test next.
• 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹. 15-20 minute conversation about your experience and fit.
• 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. We'll give you real performance data and ask for 5 creative concepts with a Loom walkthrough of your thinking. Paid, of course.
• 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄. Deeper conversation about creative strategy, testing methodology, and how you'd approach Guard Blinds specifically.
• 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄. Final call with the founder. Vision, culture, and mutual fit.
• 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. We'll speak with people you've worked with, specifically about your creative strategy work.
• 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿. 30-day trial period. Choose your comp structure: higher base with smaller bonus, or lower base with bigger performance upside.
